Crossmart vs LitCommerce
LitCommerce and Crossmart both help you list one catalog on several channels and keep stock in sync, and both start at a similar price. They differ in how many marketplaces they reach today, and in how open they are to developers and AI agents.
The short answer
LitCommerce is the more established choice if you need many marketplaces today. It lists to eBay, Amazon, Etsy, Walmart, TikTok Shop, Temu and more, and its eBay tools go deep. Crossmart reaches fewer channels for now, but it is open source, has a public API and SDKs, and lets AI agents such as Claude or ChatGPT manage your catalog over MCP with your approval.
Both price mainly by listings, so a catalog of the same size costs about the same to start. The real question is which channels you need this year, and whether you want your listings to be programmable.

What LitCommerce is
LitCommerce calls itself a "specialized multichannel selling tool" that connects to where you already sell and lists your products on 10+ channels from there (LitCommerce). It started in 2021 from the team behind LitExtension, a store migration tool, and its footer names LitGroup as the company behind it (About us).
It is aimed at two kinds of seller: store owners on Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce or Wix who want to reach marketplaces, and marketplace sellers who want to cross-list between them. It also offers a separate product feed tool for advertising and feed platforms. On Shopify it installs as an app (Shopify App Store).
What Crossmart is
Crossmart is an open-source (AGPL-3.0) multichannel listing platform for sellers and their AI agents. You keep one master catalog, add products to each store, and Crossmart publishes them, keeps price and stock in step and brings the orders back. Shopify and eBay are live, Google Shopping and Etsy are coming soon, and Amazon, Walmart and TikTok Shop are planned.
Each store can have its own price and title through per-channel overrides. AI suggests listing content and category mappings, and nothing changes until you approve it. A channel map shows where each product is live and, when a listing fails, what the channel asked for. The dashboard, a REST API, an MCP server, SDKs for TypeScript, Python and PHP, webhooks and an n8n node all work on the same data. You can use Crossmart Cloud or run it on your own servers for free.
Key differences
Pricing
LitCommerce multichannel plans start from $29 a month for 1,000 listings and three channels, with unlimited orders, and the listing count covers every connected channel. There is a 7-day free trial and a discount for annual billing. The free plan applies to the product feed tool only (LitCommerce pricing).
Crossmart Cloud is priced by active listings, where one product live in one store counts as one. Starter is $29, Pro is $59, Growth is $129 and Scale is $299 a month, annual billing saves about 20%, and Enterprise starts at $999 a month. Every plan starts with a 7-day trial and includes every channel, the API, MCP and the SDKs, with no fee on your sales. Self-hosting is free. See Crossmart pricing.
Channels
LitCommerce lists to eBay, Amazon, Etsy, Walmart, Temu, Reverb, Faire, TikTok Shop and Facebook, and connects to Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, Wix and Square stores (LitCommerce). Its product updates added Google Merchant Center feeds in October 2026 (product updates).
Crossmart publishes to Shopify and eBay today. Google Shopping and Etsy are coming soon, and Amazon, Walmart and TikTok Shop are planned. If you need Amazon, Walmart or TikTok Shop now, LitCommerce covers them and Crossmart does not yet.
AI and agents
LitCommerce has added AI features to its listing tools: description optimization for eBay and Etsy, AI-generated item specifics for eBay, and AI help with TikTok Shop attributes (product updates). We found no LitCommerce MCP server or public API for outside agents.
Crossmart was built to be run by agents as well as people. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, OpenClaw and other MCP clients sign in with OAuth, get only the access you approve, and any AI content they ask for arrives as a suggestion for a person to approve. See AI agents for multichannel selling.
Open source and API
LitCommerce is a hosted service, and we found no public developer API in its documentation. Crossmart's code is licensed under AGPL-3.0 and can be self-hosted. Its versioned REST API, webhooks and SDKs cover everything the dashboard does, so you can connect your own systems or build a workflow in n8n.
Inventory and orders
LitCommerce syncs price, inventory, orders and product fields on a 15-minute cycle, and brings orders from every channel into one place, including Amazon FBA orders (LitCommerce).
Crossmart sends a new quantity to every store as soon as stock changes, then checks every 15 minutes for drift. An order holds its units the moment it arrives, so the next store to ask sees the lower count (stock sync).
When to choose LitCommerce instead
- You need Amazon, Walmart, Temu, TikTok Shop, Reverb or Faire today.
- You want eBay-specific tools such as auto-relisting that Crossmart doesn't offer.
- You prefer a Shopify app install over a separate platform.
- You want a product feed tool and listing tool from the same vendor.
When Crossmart is the better fit
- You want an open-source tool you can self-host or extend.
- You want a documented REST API, webhooks and SDKs to connect your own systems.
- You want Claude, ChatGPT or your own agent to manage listings over MCP, with approvals.
- Stock should go out on every change, with a 15-minute check as a safety net.
Frequently asked questions

Yes, if your channels are Shopify and eBay, with Google Shopping and Etsy soon. LitCommerce supports more marketplaces today, so check that Crossmart covers the channels you sell on before you switch.
Which costs less, LitCommerce or Crossmart?
They start at about the same price. LitCommerce starts from $29 a month for 1,000 listings and three channels. Crossmart Cloud starts at $29 a month for 1,000 active listings and 3 stores, and self-hosting is free.

We found no public developer API or MCP server on LitCommerce's website as of November 2026. Crossmart has both, plus SDKs for TypeScript, Python and PHP.
Can I move from LitCommerce to Crossmart?
Crossmart imports products from a connected Shopify store or a Shopify product CSV. If your catalog lives in Shopify, you can import it into Crossmart and choose which products go to eBay.
