Crossmart vs Channable

Channable is a feed management and marketing platform with thousands of channel templates. Crossmart is an open-source listing platform that keeps one catalog, one stock count and your orders in step across marketplaces, and that your AI agent can run. Here is how they differ, and when each one fits.

The short answer

Channable and Crossmart overlap less than their category names suggest. Channable is at its best getting product data into a very wide range of advertising, comparison, affiliate and marketplace channels, and turning that data into ad campaigns. Crossmart covers fewer channels in more depth: it publishes real listings, holds one stock count for every store, takes in orders, and lets an AI agent do the work over MCP.

If your growth comes from Google Shopping ads, price comparison sites and a long list of European marketplaces, Channable covers far more ground today. If you sell the same products on Shopify and eBay and want listings, stock and orders run from one place, by you or by an agent, Crossmart is built for that.

What Channable is

Channable describes itself as one platform to "list, advertise, and optimize" products, combining feed management, marketplaces, PPC, CSS, creatives and insights (About Channable). It was founded in 2014, is based in Utrecht in the Netherlands, and works with retailers, brands and agencies; agencies get their own dashboard and partner program (Channable for agencies).

Its core is a no-code rules engine that filters and rewrites product data for each channel (feed management). Around it sit optional modules: a marketplace integrator, order connections, a repricer and a PPC tool that builds Google and Amazon campaigns from your feed (PPC tool). Channable lists more than 3,000 channel templates (integrations).

What Crossmart is

Crossmart is an open-source (AGPL-3.0) multichannel listing platform for sellers and their AI agents. You keep one master catalog, add products to each store, and Crossmart publishes them, keeps price and stock in step and brings the orders back. Shopify and eBay are live, Google Shopping and Etsy are coming soon, and Amazon, Walmart and TikTok Shop are planned.

Each store can have its own price and title through per-channel overrides. AI suggests listing content and category mappings, and nothing changes until you approve it. A channel map shows where each product is live and, when a listing fails, what the channel asked for. The dashboard, a REST API, an MCP server, SDKs for TypeScript, Python and PHP, webhooks and an n8n node all work on the same data. You can use Crossmart Cloud or run it on your own servers for free.

Key differences

Pricing

Channable builds a subscription from a package of items, projects and channels, a Core plan (Standard, Plus or Pro) and optional modules. The smallest package, 500 items in one project with three channels, starts at €39 a month on Core Standard. Marketplaces, order connections and the repricer are separate modules (Channable pricing), and the Marketplaces module is available from the 5,000-item package (marketplace integrator).

Crossmart Cloud is priced by active listings, where one product live in one store counts as one. Starter is $29, Pro is $59, Growth is $129 and Scale is $299 a month, annual billing saves about 20%, and Enterprise starts at $999 a month. Every plan starts with a 7-day trial and includes every channel, the API, MCP and the SDKs, with no fee on your sales. Self-hosting is free. See Crossmart pricing.

Channels

Channable's catalog spans marketplaces, search and shopping ads, social channels, comparison websites and affiliate networks, with eBay, Amazon, Walmart, TikTok Shop, Google Shopping and Meta among the featured ones (integrations). Shopify connects as a product source (Channable for Shopify).

Crossmart publishes to Shopify and eBay today, with Google Shopping and Etsy next. It does not produce ad, comparison or affiliate feeds, and it does not build ad campaigns.

AI and agents

Channable's plans include AI product categorization and AI feed setup, with attribute, keyword and translation features on Core Plus, and AI text and image generation on Core Pro (pricing). Text generation uses your own Gemini or OpenAI account (help center). We found no official Channable MCP server.

Crossmart was built to be run by agents as well as people. Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cursor, OpenClaw and other MCP clients sign in with OAuth, get only the access you approve, and any AI content they ask for arrives as a suggestion for a person to approve. See AI agents for multichannel selling.

Open source and API

Channable is a hosted service. Its public API is an order connection API for orders, shipments, stock updates and returns (API docs). Crossmart's code is licensed under AGPL-3.0, so you can self-host it or add a connector, and its REST API covers the catalog, stores, listings, stock and orders.

Inventory and orders

Channable syncs marketplace orders and stock through its Order Connection add-on, priced per connection, and pairs it with the repricer to avoid overselling (marketplace integrator).

In Crossmart, stock and orders are part of every plan. An order from any store holds its units at once, every other store gets the lower quantity, and every 15 minutes Crossmart compares what each channel shows with its own count and corrects any drift (how stock sync works).

When to choose Channable instead

  • You advertise on Google Shopping, Microsoft Advertising, Meta or comparison sites, and want one feed tool for all of them.
  • You want search and shopping campaigns generated from your product feed.
  • You sell on marketplaces Crossmart doesn't support yet, such as Amazon, bol or Allegro.
  • You buy Google Shopping ads through a comparison shopping service and want Channable's CSS.

When Crossmart is the better fit

  • You sell on Shopify and eBay and want listings, stock and orders handled in one place.
  • You want an AI agent to create and fix listings, with every AI change waiting for your approval.
  • You want to self-host, or to build on open-source code you can change.
  • You prefer a price set by active listings, with every channel and the API in every plan.

Frequently asked questions

Is Crossmart a Channable alternative?

For marketplace listings and stock sync on Shopify and eBay, yes. For feed management across ad networks, comparison sites and affiliates, not today: Crossmart doesn't produce those feeds or build ad campaigns. Many sellers could run both, Channable for ads and Crossmart for marketplace listings.

Is Channable open source?

No. Channable is a hosted service, and we found no public source code or self-hosted edition. Crossmart is open source under AGPL-3.0 and can be self-hosted for free.

Does Channable have an MCP server for AI agents?

We found no official Channable MCP server as of November 2026. Crossmart has a hosted MCP server that Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and other agents sign in to with OAuth.

How do Channable and Crossmart prices compare?

Channable starts at €39 a month for 500 items and three channels on Core Standard, with marketplace and order modules on top. Crossmart Cloud starts at $29 a month for 1,000 active listings, with every channel included and no fee on sales.
